Nominations are now being accepted for the second class of the CXO Fellows Program, a continuing partnership the CFO, CAO, and CIO Councils. The objective of the CXO Fellows program is to invest in outstanding federal employees (GS 11-14) by broadening their knowledge of government management disciplines and foster cross-government relationships through interactive discussions and collaboration.
This program allows Fellows to grow professionally and develop relationships throughout the government in different management areas. The Fellows will come from across the financial management, IT, and acquisition disciplines. Fellows will participate in education, training, and events together to learn about collaboration and issues impacting government management processes and systems.
During the year-long program, Fellows have the opportunity to meet with leaders in the Federal financial, acquisition, and IT communities. They will learn about innovative government operations through educational seminars sponsored by the National Defense University as well as “Inside Government” events.
Selected Fellows will remain in their current position at their home agency. Fellows are invited to participate in two to three program events each month as well as five (5) full instructional days at NDU throughout the year. The total time commitment is estimated at 10-15 hours per month.
CXO Fellows are rising stars with leadership potential (GS 11 to 14) and need to be nominated by the agency CFO. There is no cost to the program, but because of space limitations, only one nomination is allowed by CFO Act agency.
To nominate someone from your agency, please fill out this nomination form. Nominations are due August 31, 2016 for a start date in October 2016.
