The report is intended to outline the relevant Competencies, Career Levels, and a sample of the associated Developmental Experiences – all included to help your Financial Assistance Management workforce develop and succeed on the job.
Each competency and career level includes a sample of Recommended Training courses. These courses comprise an example curriculum for developing a Financial Assistance Management workforce and can serve as a potential starting point in developing the associated competencies. The included courses are open to all federal employees and are offered as in-person or virtual sessions. Please further explore course descriptions, schedules, and formats by going to the vendor’s websites to choose the appropriate training program that will match the needs and interests of your workforce. It is also important, however, that you check your Agency’s resources for programs that may be more appropriate for development of the selected competencies or attainment of agency-specific certifications.
